The people at 5.11 are one of the biggest assets and our team continues to evolve the way we work. With just under 10 years at the company, I highly recommend 5.11 for anyone who is passionate about their work.

      As the company is growing at a rapid rate, everyone is always busy. We push through the workload and projects together, and constantly find ways to improve our processes over time.

      Pros

      Compared to my prior employer, the workload is much reduced while the pay is a substantial increase. I feel that store and District leadership is a lot more willing to back you up compared to Prior employers I've had, and there is a good amount of freedom to be had. The company is also expanding so the opportunity for growth is also higher than with other Industries right now.

      Cons

      The company seems to be a bit schizophrenic at the moment when it comes to certain things and operations are suffering to a degree because of it.
