Poor Communication - Barista 7 Brew Coffee Employee Review

The manager encouraged cliquey behavior with her and only specific coworkers, leaving others feeling left out and showing clear favoritism. As someone who worked at a coffee shop before, I never got a chance to really show my knowledge and work ethic as I was often either shoved outside to take orders or sent home early. When interviewed, they told me they could be flexible with my schedule as I am a student, yet was fired for needing to request time off and having low availability some weeks. They said that I just wasn’t working enough hours, as if they hadn’t sent me home early majority of my shifts.
