Pros
Pros: -You CAN make some great friends -You get free drinks on the clock (depending on the stand tho) -You learn how to make coffee lol
Cons
Where do i start -You can rarely get shifts covered -Even if you’re sick it’s in your hands to get ur shifts covered. I got covid tried to get covers for my shift, and still got scolded about not showing up to my shift -Management is so uptight and ran by younger adults -Extremley cliquey -“Cultivating Kindess” my ***, i’ve never, EVER, felt like i was being treated with kindness by my old manager, had me doing manager duties as a shift lead -Never got promoted to a baller (everyone else had balling opportunities including people promoted to a shift lead after me. but i was told i wasn’t being picked for balling by the balling coordinator because my stand “needed me” and im “the one who knows how to run our stand.”) -Absolutely draining. The drama oh my GOD. It’s literally a coffee shop why on earth is there so much drama. Oh, ik, because half the staff is highschool students who can’t even drive yet -SO CULTY. Idk if i’m the only one to see this side of the company, but you HAVE TO LIVE AND BREATHE 7 BREW -Tips suck. Got lied to about how tips are split, plus they get taxed because they go straight to ur paycheck -If you miss 1 thing on a close, you’ll wake up to shift lead group chat scolding you
