Pros

Great training. You will learn and understand how to run a profitable business. Be able to see up to the moment information in any category, helping you make good business decisions.

Cons

They try to empower you using the retailer initiative business motto. Basically it’s analyzing data to get what your customers want. Then they have the Field consultants and inspectors check a list of items you must have regardless if it sells at your store. This defeats the purpose. There are many constant changes, one day the company wants to focus on sandwiches, the next bakery items and so forth.

Cons

The manager would call my phone at 3 am to tell me to unload a truck full of drinks alone, constantly, even though it was never mentioned or docked as pay.

Steady hours, free drinks, meet an assortment of people, repetitive customers that you get to know and like

Cons

Low pay, bad benefits, and mostly working by yourself unless you're first shift, and then only on weekdays.
