Pros

Best training program in the business. The managment unlike most places know they are overhead, and will tell you so. Everybody, but the yard dogs start as a MT and have worked thier way up. You will do more as a MT than at most companies department mangers.

Cons

The pay flat out sucks. As a MT you are competiting with your boss for bonus. This is a conflict of interest. You should ask how many people as a manager has that store manager got promoted. You will put in at least 48 hours a week. Many locations are short of employees for a reason. On top of that you will have a to do a training program and prospect for new customers. You also have to fend off the other MTs for promotion. It is VERY competitive place. The working conditions suck. There is no heat and no air, so if it is 5 below or 110 above you get no break. The next step up is sales or management and still dog eat dog. While having very good buying power 84 does not get the deals that larger companies do, the materials are of slightly higher quality, but that makes sales tough. Expect that you will come in early on Saturday morning only to have managment go on a terror about lack of sales.

Pros

Excellent management, people take an active interest in your long term development in house.

Cons

Inflexible corporate expectations, reform and proposals don't appear to travel far past people you can see.

Pros

Good benefits, pay is decent. If you work from home FT as a Manager , you can also run your own business while on the clock get paid for it. Who wouldn't want to work there.

Cons

You can work your butt off, put in more hours than you should and get no respect in return.
