Pros

Over all great company to work for. I started out as a P&D driver in 2001. In the summer of 2015 they allowed me to switch to Part Time. The pay is fair, the Medical Benefits are not as good as they once were. The retirement plan is outstanding. The best part of this company is the ownership. This family run company genuinely cares about there employees over all well being. They invest for the future in tech, equipment, and new facilities. Duie Latta(owner) is heavily involved in the running of the 401k plan. He is always looking to add new,low cost funds to the plan to save employees money.(My wifes 403b plan should take a lesson, think her employer must get kickbacks for using the most costly funds). The P&D work is not easy, but management works with you. I have never been told to try and make a delivery that I felt is unsafe or was beyond my means. They have finally invested in some electric walk behind jacks which I believe should cut down on injuries. Saftey is always stressed at my job.(Vests, saftey shoes,gloves,ect...) Overall I would reccomend working for A Duie Pyle. I started here 17 years ago thinking this would be a temporary job. A good job can change your mind .

Cons

I have only 1 issue with the Carteret,NJ terminal. They try to put equipment (Trailers) that are to large for certain areas. I run Brooklyn and Staten Island. They try to put as much freight onto a 45' trailer when some places can barely fit a 32' trailer. If the delivery calls for a straight truck, they put it on a 32' trailer. Not fun.

Pros

- The HR team was incredibly supportive, collaborative, and enjoyable to work with - Built many meaningful relationships and lifelong professional connections during my time with the company - Leadership and ownership demonstrate a strong commitment to employees and company culture - Pyle offers very competitive benefits and a solid 401(k) program - My decision to leave was solely due to relocating out of state for personal reasons, not because of the company itself

Cons

- The role can become somewhat repetitive and cyclical over time - The hiring process requires managing a high volume of moving pieces and constant information flow, demanding strong organization and attention to detail - Mondays can be especially long due to leading and facilitating New Hire Orientation sessions
