Pros

Easy job if you can deal with a company that wants to treat you like you're an incompetent child . (Safety constantly watching your speed and braking with weekly tongue lashings for 5 mph over ).

Cons

Very poor communication , no support for satellite operations , i.e. no spare parts to fix minor truck/ trailer problems , like lights mudflaps, fuses, glad hand gaskets or hoses . They will not supply you with oil , coolant , windshield wipers or washer fluid at your satellite location , so if you have steering wheel holders for co workers you'll arrive at work needing some of the previously mentioned items but will have none of them . Management throws their hands in the air and acts like that's not their job to supply these items . The company touts that that they promote from within but that's clearly just a selling point to new employees because the majority of the company is run by college morons who know nothing about trucking . The poor mechanics can't do their jobs without prior authorization of a DOT required repair . The whole company is a bit of a clown show that makes you wonder if Peter latta even knows how poorly his company is being run . But they'll be sure to tout their yearly profits then act like the 20 years old pay scale their using is up to par . $23 HR when their competition is paying $30+ .

Pros

- The HR team was incredibly supportive, collaborative, and enjoyable to work with - Built many meaningful relationships and lifelong professional connections during my time with the company - Leadership and ownership demonstrate a strong commitment to employees and company culture - Pyle offers very competitive benefits and a solid 401(k) program - My decision to leave was solely due to relocating out of state for personal reasons, not because of the company itself

Cons

- The role can become somewhat repetitive and cyclical over time - The hiring process requires managing a high volume of moving pieces and constant information flow, demanding strong organization and attention to detail - Mondays can be especially long due to leading and facilitating New Hire Orientation sessions
