Pros

Many long service employees that know their stuff and are easy to work with. Compensation is at market. Employee benefits (medical, dental, insurance) are very good.

Cons

Since the management change in mid-2006, power is now concentrated in a COO and a CSO. On day one, reserved parking spaces for VPs went up. Going to open office concept with tiny workstations, except for VPs and some directors / HR / legal. Attitude is everyone is replaceable. Far too many ex-Sylvania people, that has become a clique. All metrics driven, make those happen or die trying. AWC's work culture has become toxic and hard-nosed - in my opinion.
