My manager Troy was one of the best. I started at AAA in 1999 and stayed 15 years until Wells Fargo Advisors offered me a position five minutes from my home. AAA Northern CA just sent me a huge sum of money on a pre-pension payout. You don't see that in most companies.

Cons

Zero management opportunities in San Diego. Product line was very limited and did not allow a specialist to provide full financial service, therefore limiting pay.Southern Club made it too difficult to make any trips.

Pros

Depending on the position… Monday-Friday, partial remote work. Snacks in office in all break rooms. Some departments feel like a family and that they care about you which is nice. If you get into a good department, you feel like you’re heard and appreciated.

Cons

Management in some departments are absolutely terrible. They play favorites, and target those who they don’t like. You can go from being an exceptional employee to the dirt on their shoes real quick and you’ll know it. Upper management ask for anon feedback, but nothing changes. A lot of departments feel like a call center, and other departments expect you to do a ton of work while taking a ton of calls. If you don’t keep your numbers, which is hard to do, you’re in trouble
