      Pros

      You can survive here by hiding among the few that know the electrical business that ABB wishes to service. These few are not your managers.

      Cons

      The entire upper management structure is comprised of bean counters that couldn't tell you how to use most of the products that they sell. Upper management changes every 2 years so how could they even learn? ABB acquired a reputable business (T & B) and have just about finished it off. They can't service their customers. Average order time is 2 weeks IF the part is sitting in the warehouse. Manufacturing lead times are atrocious (sometimes a year!). In a two year span you will be fortunate if you know any of your colleagues.

      Pros

      The management team works hard to encourage and support employees, recognizing that they are the company's greatest asset. Experienced team members are welcoming and take the time to train new employees, helping them succeed while emphasizing the importance of working safely. Leadership strives to be fair, consistent, and approachable. They actively listen to employee concerns, address issues in a timely manner, and foster a positive, supportive work environment where employees feel valued and respected.

      Cons

      One of the biggest drawbacks is the lack of air conditioning in the factory during the summer, making the work environment hot and at times uncomfortable. Overtime opportunities are also limited to a maximum of 56 hours per week, which may be disappointing for employees looking to work additional hours. While overtime is available, most employees can typically expect to work around eight hours of overtime each week.
