      Pros

      The home office in Ft. Smith AR has some of the most helpful and friendly people I ever worked with. The benefits package is one of the best in the industry. Compensation is competitive and they offer the tools and training to be successful with your career

      Cons

      Earned vacation is not competitive, 7 years to get a 3rd week of vacation. Promotional pay increases are not in line with the increase in responsibility or cost of living changes if moving to a larger city. Micromanagement is a serious problem with this company.

      Pros

      Low stress environment. No cost Healthcare benefits. An amazing Defined Benifit Pension. Terrific Company to work for.

      Cons

      Working on a cold dock in the Winter with do doors. Some workers that don’t appreciate the benifits of working under a Teamster contract.

      Pros

      Pay is best in the business. $100,000+ first year as a road driver. Year two I made $107,000… and took two months off for cancer surgery. Year three I made $129,000. I average 2-3 nights per week in a hotel. Usually only 1 night out then back home the next day. Frequently running turns (home at end of the run). Insurance is free and EXCELLENT coverage. I paid $1,000 total out-of-pocket for cancer surgery.

      Cons

      Not much life/work balance. Frustrating spending time on the extra board waiting to get a call to go to work, but with more seniority you get less wait time.
