Pros

Working from home and not being forced into an office during a pandemic is nice

Cons

Imagine coming to Glassdoor to voice actual concerns such as a new PTO policy that forces you to use PTO and schedule when you will use all of it 3 months in advance, HR being corrupt, management being incompetent, metrics being miscalculated and then being dismissed as a "troll" and as either "let go" or "should be let go". That tells you all you need to know about ACA, but in case you need more: 1. Tone deaf - Company announces layoffs and significant salary reductions at the same time it announces hiring 2 c suite executives 2. Management and HR - Everyone is buddy buddy in that space. Voice any concerns in person and you will suffer retaliation. 3. Incompetent managers - Will often make bad decisions where lower level employees suffer the consequences and then go back on it when they realize it was a bad decision (when everyone already knew that). 4. Overwork - Work less than 50 hours a week and you will be questioned by your managers on why you aren't doing enough. 5. Horrible metrics - They use what they like to call "utilization prime" to decide if you've been productive, and if you haven't been as productive as they want with their bs metric, you will be called out. To give you an example, mandatory meetings, company updates and even webcasts by the company on "how to be productive at home" do not count towards utilization, you just weren't being productive enough I guess. 6. Career advancements - you need to jump through certain hoops to advance here, which I guess its fair game, but if you're close with some of the other staff, you can just fail all these hoops and still be promoted. 7. Treated like children - you WILL be treated like children even if you know more than your managers. Your job is to sit down and follow their orders, even if you know they're inefficient or just completely wrong. 8. Cutthroat managers - Managers can and WILL throw you under the bus to cover their hinds. Be prepared for it. I could name so much more, but I just don't have the time for it, after all, I still need to clock in 3 more hours even after working 8 hours in order to satisfy their needs.

Pros

For many years, this was a great company to work for. The people, team culture, PTO, and benefits were strong, and the benefits package helped make up for pay that was often average compared to the market. I worked alongside talented colleagues and built relationships that made coming to work enjoyable. There were many positive experiences during my 10+ years with the company.

Cons

Despite frequently emphasizing that "people are our greatest asset," the company has shown little loyalty to long-term employees. After dedicating over a decade of hard work and commitment, I was laid off with no warning. What made the experience even more difficult was seeing numerous open positions posted at the same time long-term employees were being let go. Being laid off after giving the company my best for more than 10 years was disappointing and disheartening. Employees should understand that years of service and dedication do not necessarily provide job security. The company's actions did not align with the values it often promoted
