Pros
The people hands down are the best. A lot of younger people at the company which makes it great for being right out of college. Additionally they have amazing flexibility and PTO (summer fridays where everyone gets off 3 hours early, flex time for doctors appointments, flexible schedules, etc.)
Cons
Due to many acquisitions and acquired firms keeping their pay structure pay is all over the place and significantly lower than the market standard. HE is currently trying to correct it but it’s been a project in the works for 2 years now and employees are becoming frustrated with how long it’s taking. The firm is owned by a PE firm and its very obvious they do not care about the ACA employees and only about their bottom line. ACA laid off 10% of the firm in April of 2020, enforced the non-competes, cut pay on the employees left by 10-20% (depending on level) and then immediately hired two c-suite executives. Then when it came time to reinstate pay the c-suite executive joked about it like it wasn’t people’s livelihoods.
