      Pros

      Librarians are paid great, benefits at 20 hours/week, generous PTO.

      Cons

      work is repetitive, little to no upward advancement, librarians never retire (they're making amazing salaries for what they do), and the dean plays favorites. Feels a lot like working for state government. Very bureaucratic and slow to change.
