Pros
Honestly, I really enjoy my job. I have one of the best managers I've ever working with leading our team. I truly feel like I have a voice when it comes to decision making and because of my years of experience in this industry, my colleagues value and trust my decisions. The compensation is generous and the scheduling is flexible. We have a hybrid office schedule where we can WFH most of the time but still have a desk at the office for meetings and such. It's a strong company that is growing its network to be one of the leading grocery distributors on the east coast.
Cons
You still have to deal with some level of corporate politics. At times your team will be understaffed and you do have to step up and do the work of two people. Also, you can be asked to do work "above your pay grade". Yes, it looks good on a resume but it can make you feel short changed.
