Business Outlook
Pros
Involved in the leading transportation engineering projects around the world. In my time at aecom, I had the opportunity to work on several of these once in a life time projects. Worked with some very talented people.
Cons
Since going public, there has been an emphasis on cash and profitability. While understandable and even an industry trend, this emphasis isn't well received and adds to a negative connotation. Aecom spends a lot of time trying to figure out the right mix between business lines and geographic regions and I still don't believe they have found the right mix.
