Pros
- Good if you want to work on major projects - Lots of very capable senior technical people
Cons
- you get put into a very specific role as a grad and it’s almost impossible to try out other teams or disciplines - pay is pretty low and there aren’t really many other benefits - not many social events - my team, particularly my immediate manager, let me down when I was really struggling and asking for help - lots of very long processes to get simple things done - seems to be a bit of a culture of victim blaming and resentment when people make the difficult decision to go elsewhere
