Pros
Okay work environment. Some nice people and if you are a self-starter you can learn about the energy industry. Don't expect to learn anything from your boss - totally worthless but if you like short skirts and high heels then maybe it isn't so bad. The industry itself is quite interesting and a growing especially with all the innovation on the renewable side. Learn what you can on your own and from some of your fellow team mates and then move onto a real job somewhere else. Actually work/balance is okay because no one really seems to care. You can dress really casual - almost too casual in my opinion but if that is what you value then this might be a good place to hang for awhile.
Cons
Horrible management all the way up to the very top. Lots of nepotism and friends of the boss and belonging to the same church. Worthless middle management. Communication within and between departments is sorely lacking. HR loves to talk about culture - what a joke. It is a fake culture but there are still some good people there. Just go along and pretend like everything is great and move on when you find a better opportunity.
