Pros

Prior to being acquired by AFS, we were one of the highest rated companies to work for in the entire Tampa Bay area. We were truly appreciated and valued for our skills and business knowledge, and the entire company felt more like a family than just a business. But that all changed after the acquisition, and now I see so much talent being shown the door with nothing more than a boot on their rear. It's just so sad.

Cons

The cons for working for AFS are so many I doubt I am allowed the space to write it all out. Business decisions being made at nearly every level are so ridiculous it simply boggles my mind. There is simply no possibly way the CEO and his hand-picked clones have the long-term interests of this company at heart. Their only concern is to save that precious Rupee, regardless of the impact to clients or employees, and to make everything "look good on paper". I do not believe these people are ignorant or unintelligent, therefore the only logical conclusion I can draw when I see drastic decisions being made that have a highly negative impact on the business yet supposedly make the company as a whole look better on paper, is the fact that they are gearing up to sell the company. Nothing else makes any sense.

Pros

Base Pay is good, Pay is on time.

Cons

The CEO, Kurien Jacob, is a tyrant and a joke. For a company that has been in operation for 30 years, it is disturbing how disparate the departments, the products and the management are. He knows nothing about how to treat his employees. My experience with him consisted of him demeaning and devaluing my boss, cussing and complaining about how worthless the sales organization is and being ridiculed with multiple threats of losing our jobs on a weekly basis. Many sales reps have been "let-go" due to Kurien's "mood", for no valid reason or explanation. Worse yet, he will have his small group of mentally abused followers (there are a select few, which is beyond me) do the firing for him.
