      Pros

      Excellent supporting staff to turn to Benefits are solid if you choose the highest plan Management seems a little discombobulated Friendly work environment Family friendly unless you have too many consecutive interruptions with someone else's request NJ requires 3 days in office while Atlanta only 1 which is good Excellent training opportunities so take advantage

      Cons

      Sometimes fail to use you for your best qualities on projects and issues and instead silo you into the same work over and over. No actual sick policy No 401k Only 10 vacation days that are frowned upon being used in advance even if they don't object. For all work over 40hrs they'll tell you it'll balance out when you need to miss brief time for doctors etc but they still dock you. Just executed a "workforce reduction" in Q4 2016 and let go of some really good techs while leaving some others that were only average. I guess it's about money but it was handled horribly. We are all still concerned. When the sales and project pipeline dries up, be worried!! If you're one of the newer workers, expect to be laid off. End of year purge of employees due to slow period seems common. If any Cheif officer flies into town, I'd be very concerned for layoffs

We are glad to hear the positive comments regarding our staff and friendly work environment. Please understand that all decisions with regard to staffing are taken very seriously. Like any high functioning business, we evaluate employee performance on an ongoing basis and remain committed to assessing our benefits package in order to be competitive in the marketplace.

      Pros

      Going from a toxic employer to AHEAD has been the best change for my happiness. Everyone at AHEAD is motivated, positive, and willing to help each other. I no longer dread logging into work, and even enjoy the days where I have to work a bit longer or go the extra mile, because I know it will be appreciated and I can take the time I need in return. Having unlimited PTO you don't get shamed for using is amazing. I've been supported in my efforts and have a lot of autonomy without micromanagement, which is a great feeling. Upper management really trusts you and trusts in the hire.

      Cons

      While being in a high-growth company is exciting, it can also be exhausting. Sometimes you need the "rocket ship" to take a beat, but there is no real lull. More company-wide time off would be helpful so that you can get a break where you don't come back to 50+ emails per day. The only other downside is that due to the fabulous employee retention, people stay in their roles for a looong long time. There are not a lot of opportunities for upward mobility as a result, from what I have seen thus far.
