Pros

CDI is going through a lot of great changes, and the outlook is on the up and up. Lots of new talent is being hired to create processes and help the organization navigate through some things that come up as part of the recent growth. I can tell that the priority is definitely to find a way to scale up successfully. The culture here is very much like a startup: very family-oriented, and also entrepreneurial. it's great for people who are willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Very flat organization... there are people at all levels are working side by side, so if you're looking for an organization with structured hierarchy, this is not it. There's a lot of work to be done and oftentimes that involves around-the-clock-hustle, but the whole team pulls together to reach goals and exceed expectations. It's really like working for a big family. -Great work/life balance -annual company trip -love my coworkers -management is really friendly and hardworking

Cons

There are a lot of 'growing pains' to work through (i.e., process around reviews, salary increases, etc.), but I'm hopeful that the recent hiring of HR will help to smooth those out.

Pros

Going from a toxic employer to AHEAD has been the best change for my happiness. Everyone at AHEAD is motivated, positive, and willing to help each other. I no longer dread logging into work, and even enjoy the days where I have to work a bit longer or go the extra mile, because I know it will be appreciated and I can take the time I need in return. Having unlimited PTO you don't get shamed for using is amazing. I've been supported in my efforts and have a lot of autonomy without micromanagement, which is a great feeling. Upper management really trusts you and trusts in the hire.

Cons

While being in a high-growth company is exciting, it can also be exhausting. Sometimes you need the "rocket ship" to take a beat, but there is no real lull. More company-wide time off would be helpful so that you can get a break where you don't come back to 50+ emails per day. The only other downside is that due to the fabulous employee retention, people stay in their roles for a looong long time. There are not a lot of opportunities for upward mobility as a result, from what I have seen thus far.
