AIM is not what it used to be. The start up vibe has died and now answers to the corporate behemoth. Blind faith and herd mentality are expected. If you keep your eyes closed, put your head down, and if you don't question the "this is how we've always done it because its the only way it works" mindset, you might survive. What once was a company that fostered creativity, supported their employees, and truly believed in helping others has turned into a revenue hungry monster.
The special culture of AIM has been lost and what once was great, has turned into uncomfortable work environment especially for women. Issues that should be brought to HR's attention are swept under the rug by management and will be covered up making it seem like a lesser issues than it really is. Employees wont reach out to HR is a because they fear that they will lose their job for speaking up even when the situation 100% calls for it. That is a huge problem. Management and team leads will play employees against each other and turn them against each other to create divides which results is an unhealthy and hostile work place. No such thing as flexible work hours, taking PTO might as well be a crime, and no one will believe you if you are sick.
For a company that's foundation is supposedly built on trust, those blocks are held together by lies. Management lies to their employees, Account executives lie to their teams about qualified jobs and communication with managers, MTAR's are expected to lie to candidates/consultants when it means closing the deal.. when thats the standard that has been created, it infects everything. People are happy until the blind fold comes off and reality sets in that as a person, you don’t matter. As an employee, you are nothing but a number expected to crank out numbers and generate revenue. Nothing more, nothing less.
