Pros

- amazing pay/benefits - solid culture - they look after employees well - great work/life balance - low stakes/very chill job

Cons

- low stakes/very chill job - benchmark for great work is set very low - maintaining the way things work vs. innovating + freshening up approaches to things - very out of touch executive/management. Big "ok boomer" energy - Air Miles is a dying loyalty program that is not well-suited to compete with new entrants to the space they've solely operated in for over 25 yrs. Your job might come with an expiry date.

Regarding your feedback about the executive and management teams, at AIR MILES we prioritize Leadership and Executive development, consistently investing in training and development programs to ensure our people continue to be innovative so we stay on top of industry trends. Last year we took steps to implement Leadership Key Performance Objectives to measure leadership effectiveness, along with a leadership survey to solicit Associate feedback regarding leadership and to ensure we continue to learn as an organization. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the benefits and events offered to our Associates, as well as our remote-first working model. We appreciate your perspective on feeling as though your work makes a difference. We strongly believe that our people are our greatest asset and that the work done at all levels of the organization contributes to our success as a business. During our January Business Update, our Executive team shared our Strategic Imperatives for 2023 and the ways we will continue to scale as an organization to help Associates under the "big picture" and where their role fits in. We also recently introduced a new Goal Setting process to better align with our quarterly planning process, and to encourage more regular conversations about goals between Leaders and Associates.
