Key Responsibilities: • Evaluation of existing packaging for development of new packaging with value additions. • Primary and secondary packaging development for Frozen foods (Ready to eat & Ready to cook). • Validation of Packaging Developed. • Cost estimation of packaging materials. • Purchase of packaging materials from the Packaging Converters/manufacturers within estimated budget. • Purchase of all Raw and Frozen materials for production from Vendors within estimated budget and time. • Vendor relationship management. • New vendor Development. • Heading the Packaging Development department. Key Achievements: • Developed four side , three side seal pouches for frozen foods. • Increased the strength of CFB by standard Cobb Value, reduction of adhesive viscosity and by increasing compression strength of the box. • Unifying the existing Packaging. • Handled whole packaging department with great efficiency. • Transferred the Glossy Laminate printing to Matte finish with cost effective. • Cost reduction of Packaging Material. • Given Inventory and cost analysis for transferring manual packaging to Automatic packaging. Communication partners: Internal: R & D, Purchase, Operations and business development. External: Vendors and manufacturers.
