AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.

As we continue to strengthen our culture, our Core Behaviors remain the foundation for how we lead, engage, and deliver results across our teams. These behaviors are not just guiding principles—they define the expectations for how we interact with each other, our patients, and our communities every day. At their core, these behaviors drive consistency and alignment across the organization.
