Interact with multiple levels of the company. Good experience for someone that is newer to support roles.
Cons
Supervisors have no intention of keeping you in this position or at the company. Most support roles are 1-of-1, so If something goes wrong in your department, it's your job to fix it. Compensation is locked to 2-3% a year, quality and quantity of work will not change this only lower if failure to meet expectations. Most supervisors don't understand your position, so they have no concept of complexity or time when assigning a task. They will want it yesterday with all the bells and whistles.
