Pros
Flexible hours, and great compensation. Much more casual than other firms in the region. A lot of experts in the field of Architecture. Excellent location in downtown Orange with many great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Close to the Metrolink station. Easier commute than my previous firm. Good, approachable management. Outstanding office culture and fun events such as First Friday food trucks, design forums, and company picnic. Facilities are in the historical district and have a lot of character. Great pipeline of clients, projects, and work.
Cons
The facilities are old and spread out across the town. Communication seems to stay mostly in the department you work in and feels more like a collection of smaller firms rather than the large firm it is, which also has some appeal. Paid vacation and PTO a little lacking compared to other firms.
