Pros

The company has a great culture, especially if you're working in the clinic. The clinical director, Steve M, is an honorable man and an inspiring leader. The company was very understanding and willing to work with me when I started to develop chronic health issues that interfered with my ability to work. My coworkers and supervisors were all wonderful people. Despite the company's flaws, I truly believe leadership is committed to doing the best for their clients and employees.

Cons

Despite being hired for full-time work, the company never scheduled me enough hours to count as full-time, meaning I was never eligible for benefits. My understanding is that it's possible to actually get full-time hours, but you need to work in the clinic all day (in-home assignments have shorter hours to allow for commute time). Because of how clients are assigned, I was never given that option. Speaking of commute, I was spending 10 hours in the car every week, about 3 hours of which was reimbursed. Pulling 12-hour days (7am-7pm) while only being paid part-time was unsustainable and eventually led to my decision to leave the company. The other factor was that I was placed in-home with two extremely violent clients I did not have the training to handle. The company only offers Right Response training once a year, so it took about four months to receive training on how to handle violent clients.

Pros

A very welcoming work environment and everyone is ready to assist you in any questions you may have about new cases or the overall dynamic of the clinic. The BCBA's are always ready to assist with any questions you may have. There is open communication to be able to voice out any concerns at any time.

Cons

client cancellations are inevitable, but they try to find coverage for you
