Pros
The process of lithography is interesting to know about in itself. Designing components and sub-modules to meet the micron and nano-meter positioning and stability requirements is challenging. Clean-room requirements drive many interesting material investigations and choices. The clean-room manufacturing environment requires a high level of facilities organization. The fabrication of specialty optics are a core component of the Wilton facility. Many intelligent and motivated individuals work at ASML.
Cons
Frequent changes in the engineering process without sufficient training. Delivery time expectations are not altered to address the fact that new processes take time to learn and be efficient at.
