Pros

The paychecks are nice if you work 60-hour weeks The 401k match is great The position looks good on a resume for when you inevitably run for the hills.

Cons

I’ll preface this by saying that they keep posting this position because we all keep leaving. You might see “Information Discovery Services” post the same position, it’s the same job dealing with the same people. There is zero accountability for team leads/management or communication between them. You can ask three different higher-ups a question and get three completely different answers, so you have to keep a paper trail of EVERYTHING for when you get errors on audits for doing exactly what you were told to do. ASRC bought out a contract in 2020 from a different company and turned things upside down. They doubled production requirements in the hopes of not having to pay overtime, but it didn’t work. Some weeks you’ll have to use 8-10 hours of PTO just to get paid 40 hours for the week and other weeks you’ll be working from the time you wake up until the time you go to bed unless you want to work the entire weekend. Back to the production changes, you’ll receive a “report card” every month telling you your numbers (which they usually calculate incorrectly, so keep track of what you get done so they don’t wrongly put you on a performance improvement plan and then backtrack later saying they messed up, which happened to me.) You no longer get a set amount of leave and it doesn’t get paid out each year, you only get what you accrue every pay period, which isn’t much. You get a ton of sick time, but you can’t use it and it doesn’t get paid out. Just this week we got a $1.50/hr raise because the DOD decided that they don’t pay us enough and they set a minimum wage for the position- that was the first raise we got in 4 years. 4 years ago with the old company I would say that the job sucks but is worth it. Now? I wouldn’t recommend this to someone I hate. It’s not worth the toll on your mental health, personal life, family, any of it.

Pros

Pay is decent, dental and vision insurance is super cheap, get to support NASA's Artemis Program

Cons

Terrible Health Insurance, costs 3 times what other company's charge for their coverage. Promotions and Awards are few and far between, and the management is very lacking.
