Pros

- If you have a good idea or an exciting solution, senior management or leadership will allow a project to proceed. Although they will take all the credit for your idea. - Standard medical, dental, vision coverage - Retirement saving plan allows you to retain the company match after one year of service although this is standard

Cons

- Absolutely no work-life balance in New Haven's IT department - Work weeks involving over 60 hours without comp time are common. You are expected to work nights and weekends, without adequate notification, and without comp time - No respect for job knowledge or job skills - No appreciation for the value of employee cost savings initiatives - No job descriptions on which performance evaluations or raises/bonuses are based - Favoritism abounds within New Haven especially for advancement opportunities, raises and bonuses - Inadequate PTO. Two weeks of annual vacation provided during years 1 through 10 although the Sweden corporate employees receive over a month of PTO annually - Retirement savings plan attaches a management fee

Pros

Great people and environment. Location is convenient. Lots of company sponsored events.

Cons

No advancement opportunities. Company is very acquisition heavy but horrible with cross functional communication. Lots of surprises.

Pros

Plenty of parking, close to highway

Cons

Workplace is toxic, dysfunctional, and psychologically draining. Management is the root cause of problems, fostering a culture that tolerates: Harassment Intimidation Favoritism and nepotism Sexism Employees are expected to remain silent and continue working under constant pressure. High levels of: Employee burnout Stress Overwork Turnover Human Resources protects the company and management rather than employees. Complaints are often minimized, ignored, or redirected without meaningful resolution. Issues are widespread and known by many employees, though some are reluctant to speak publicly. Prospective employees seriously reconsider working there, the company presents a positive image externally but has a deeply unhealthy internal culture marked by poor leadership, lack of accountability, and low employee well-being.
