Pros
Aveva's products are very well developed. They spend alot of time working on them before they release them to their customers.
Cons
In North America, I found that there was an acceptance of a 'bullying' culture. Also, there was no spirit of teamwork at all. You were mainly left to your own devices with little support from management and colleagues. In fact, when technical questions about products were asked internally, it usually became a pissing match of the 'look how stupid he/she is' kind. Upper management would frequently fire entire departments due to a dispute with a senior manager. This is not a happy place to work.
