TOXIC ENVIRONMENT - Anonymous employee Abercrombie & Fitch Employee Review

At first, it seemed like a nice place to work but as time passed you start to notice how toxic the environment is at the home office. Senior leadership are lead by people who worked at a store from back in the days aka 15-25 years ago. Some of them are insecure in their own authority, which leads to endless power trip. Their lack of experience doesn't promote growth and they are not able to develop talent. They are great at creating a HOSTILE environment laced with FEAR, DISHONESTY, and MANIPULATIVE INSINCERITY. Senior leadership will LIE to get what they want and manipulate people to believe in their lies. HR is filled with people from the Mike Jeffries' era (1992-2014) which means they are not there to listen to you but to protect their own job and hide senior leadership's repetitive bad behaviors. HR is aware of the problems but they choose to turn the other cheek. Countless talent left because of under-qualified senior leadership. They talk about retaining talents but that's not true. Talent feels defeated and ends up taking their valuable knowledge and years of experience to other companies. If you're looking for a career here, make sure you're not working under senior leadership from Mike Jeffries era (HR, Visual, Store Design and Construction, Maintenance dept, Engineer dept).
