Pros
- Company has a good vision, it's easy to understand why we all come to work each day - The people who work there are great - super smart, onto-it, caring and ethical - Pretty good culture around feedback and conflict management, along with very little office politics - Thoughtful benefits like coaching, meditation support, book ordering, home office support - Cautious, steady and transparent financial decision making gives employees full confidence in the business moving forward - People team & management are very compassionate towards employees, particularly during the pandemic have gone above and beyond to support & reassure staff
Cons
- Leadership lacking in some areas, a few good leaders stretched over multiple roles and little support given by the company to improve leadership situation - Slow and hard to change at times, can be frustrating to watch important topics go nowhere despite best intentions - Lots of good opportunities for people who are liked and encouraged, but can be hard to get into the "likeable" group for people who don't fit a certain profile - Not a lot of visible senior women or people of colour, despite representation being a strong topic across departments at the company - Not very competitive pay unless you work within product
