Pros

Fast growth and opportunities to advance within the organization.

Cons

With the many acquisitions of competitors there is real sense that the company has become just another Recall with a hint of Cintas (and not in a good way). Although they teach you the company vision and team team team, there are many cliques at all levels. If you are not part of the right one you will be limited.

Thank for your review. I appreciate you taking the time to voice your thoughts here and I am glad that you see that our fast growth can provide lots of opportunity. 2017 was a particularly challenging year at Access and we did not do a good job communicating within the organization. We worked to transform many functions in the organization - centralizing Client Experience, relocating our Finance and Accounting function from California to Boston, restructuring our regions/areas in operations, and the list goes on. The result of not communicating during that change is that our motives for the changes were, and rightfully so, questioned and the experience for our clients and many of team members suffered. Both our client and team member survey (not to mention glassdoor reviews) scores show that both team members and clients struggled this year and I am sorry that we didn't manage through all of these changes better...but, we are getting through it and 2018 will be different and better and we will communicate a lot more. I don't want to ever be another Recall, Cintas or any other company. I aspire to only be Access and I do want Access to be the very best, including providing the very best service. I will not waiver from that aspiration - that is (one of) our goal(s). It is not our intent, nor is it the intent of our private equity backers, to simply make for "the very best bottomline", but I can see how you would feel that was after this past year and I don't think there is anything I can say here to change your perspective, but I would note that in addition to all the transform I mentioned above, we also made significant investments in the business (that drove profitability down a bit, not up, actually) and will make many more significant investments this coming year. These investments are for long term growth and sustainability, not a quick buck. We improved Human Resource leadership this year, including hiring a new director of learning and development to help provide better training and education and the new HR leadership should help to break down any of the cliques that you mention (this is the first time I am hearing of such cliques, so more detail would be appreciated) in the organization. Additionally, we will continue to invest behind our growth initiatives including software, sales and marketing, acquisitions, etc...And, I am firm believer that growth does provide opportunity, so there should be no way for a clique to limit your opportunity. Trusted by coworkers to get teamwork done. No micromanaging, Pays is appropriate.

Pros

Teammates work together and most management at VP level and below care for their teams.

Cons

Lack of communication and accountability at executive leadership level, benefits are expensive, doesn't promote from within, do not pay commissions on time and sometimes not at all. OTE is unachievable
