Pros
Overall, very nice people. The screening of new hires works pretty good. Some "bad apples" among the executive cadre destroys the cart though. Casual dress code (as it should be in Austin).
Cons
Almost no new development efforts. The SW stack is ridiculously outdated, and not very interesting if you are are a SW Developer who wants to be on the leading edge, and get some valuable experience to put on your resume. Unless you are going for a career in bug fixing. The climate has changed in the last 12 months. It used to be that speaking up and giving constructive ideas for improvement was encouraged, but now it is viewed as "whining". I cannot pin point what has changed, but it feels like there is a "take it or leave it" attitude among the top brass now. And people keep quiet, heads down, and mind their own business. A real waste of all the talent here. Based on how many people that seem to be unhappy, you wonder if HR is writing all the 5-star reviews here.
