Thank you for your review. We appreciate your outlook on your experience with ATS to date. We’d like to take this opportunity to address the concerns you have presented. Our hourly rate is driven by an employee’s individual experience, compassion, dedication, and availability to name just a few things we look for in a candidate. We offer additional perks to help offset our competitive rate which includes opportunities to enroll in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage, up to three weeks of paid time off for our BCBA’s. We provide opportunities to accrue additional hours upon completing paperwork on time, attending meetings, and participating in events. We have a robust Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that not only supports our employees, but their immediate family members as well. Last, but surely not least, we offer candidates the ability to have that “work/life balance” that we all strive for! Our supervisors and Clinical Directors are very caring when it comes to personal matters, and will work with you and your team to ensure coverage when staff have a need to be out of the office. Currently, we service three states with just over 400 employees. We appreciate getting to know our valued team members on both a personal and professional level by holding quality calls with our Engagement team to ensure that everyone feels heard and appreciated. We also host company-wide events and professional development opportunities. We are absolutely proud of our growth, and the ability to propel our mission forward into communities that need our mission-focused services. We remain grounded in our mission, vision, values, and beliefs that we have held since day one.

Pros

Wonderful staff who genuinely care about both their employees and the families they work with. Very quick to get BHTs/RBTs scheduled and started once you meet all the necessary state and role required qualifications compared to other ABA companies I've dealt with. Everyone from the BCs to clinical supervisors, training support team, and scheduling treat BHTs and RBTs like a valuable part of a team rather than a commodity that exists to crank out as much income as possible for the company.

Cons

Working in ABA (especially as an RBT) means a good bit of driving, spotty schedules at times depending on need in your area, cancellations by families, and other barriers that can cause some instability in hours and pay, but this is true of every ABA company and ATS staff will work hard to try to get you what you need, even if that means your scheduler has to do some complex gymnastics to make that happen (thanks Rebecca!) The pay could be higher, but it's livable and things like drive time and supervision hours are paid at a reasonable rate instead of minimum wage.
