Pros

- Young people galore blah blah blah

Cons

- In the interview they will tell you that you can make roughly $40,000 a year in the Marketing Associate position. Base pay is ~$400 plus commission and realistically they only expect you to make 2-3 sales MAX. Not to mention, there is not a single person there who has worked in this single position for a year. $40,000 a year is not possible here. - They claim to have flexible scheduling. a 2 hour meeting M-S starting at 730AM in your best suit. Then you could travel up to 50 miles to a store, travel which you are not paid for. Essentially you'll be paid for a 5 hour shift despite work taking up 10 hours of your day.

Dear Sir or Madam, First, we would like to thank you for your review but would also like to apologize for making you feel as though you were misled or inconvenienced by the work schedule here at Acquire. From your time working at Acquire, you know we service Central North Carolina for our clientele so much of our work schedule and travel is structured around our clients. Due to us covering a large area, we provide our employees with a tax write-off initiate for all daily travel within our territory. This is discussed with each employee and is standard practice for most companies that employ individuals who travel daily within their covered territory. However, all travel fees for work related travels outside of our territory are paid for by Acquire. With that said, we try our best to rotate the in-territory travel locations so one person does not have to drive to the same location more than others. We hope you understand that when running a company that employs up to 60 people, it can be almost impossible to cater to every need or preference without being completely biased. However, if an employee brings a travel conflict to our management team and the conflict can be worked around, our Directors are happy to do so. In regards to our pay structure, the amount of income an employee makes here at Acquire is essentially uncapped, due to commissions. We also offer pay raises as employees show consistent improvement. As we’ve mentioned throughout our website, as well as in our interviews, we are a fast paced company, therefore those who excel are most likely promoted to a higher position, at which time they may move on to new markets in an effort to expand our clientele’s reach. The rate at which an employee moves forward is strictly up to the individual and the work they put forth; that may be a year, less than a year, or longer. So, while we run a fast paced business, there are a number of employees, both past and present, who have worked with us for a year or longer. We fully understand that our line of promotional marketing, travel included, as well as our base/commission pay structure may not be the best fit for everyone, but we are glad that you saw enough of an opportunity within our company to accept our job offer when presented to you. However, we regret we did not work out for you and sincerely wish you the very best. Thank you again for your feedback on your experience at Acquire Raleigh. Kind Regards, Acquire Human Resources Dept.

Pros

The team outings are fun, but that is literally the only pro.

Cons

They lie about what you're doing (selling phones in a Costco or Sam's), berate you, and lie about the hours.
