Pros

I found no pros whatsoever

Cons

Unprofessional environment. You're selling in Costco's and Sam's Clubs and you're just a salesman for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Directv, and Fiber. Don't fall for the gimmick that they sell you on in the interviews. You receive a 'minimum' pay for each week and can make commissions. HOWEVER, you can't receive both. If you make $600 in commissions, that's all you will be paid. You won't receive the minimum pay if your commissions eclipses it. Do yourself a favor, get a job with an actual base pay+commissions even if the base pay is lower than what you want. Also, the training they provide is showing up to the office every morning even when you're scheduled off. The training setting is having to try and listen to your trainer while all the other trainers are in the same room with you (about 20-30 people talking at the same time). This company is not what you're wanting.

Acquire Response

Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for taking the time to review our company. We are discouraged to hear that your experience working with Acquire was not more positive. While we are glad that you seem to have an understanding of our pay structure, we would like to take this opportunity to shed some light on the topic and explain why we have chosen a certain pay structure for our business. In the past, our company has tested several pay models other than the one we currently implement, including the one you have recommended. However, in our combined 25-years of experience in the industry, this pay structure works best for our business, clients, and employees. For employees, they are able to work more efficiently while maximizing their paycheck. Why would we require someone to work 40+ hours when they can make commissions that well exceed the hourly rate/base pay? From a business perspective, it increases employee satisfaction while maximizing revenue and minimizing overhead costs. Although this is not the place for a business lesson, we want to be sure there is a clear explanation as well as an understanding of why we have chosen to implement this particular pay structure. At the end of the day, just like any other company, we must allow means for our company to profit so we can continue to grow our business. We hope our response has brought a bit more clarification by explaining the reasoning behind some of our business decisions. Rather than trusting the words of an anonymous review such as your statement, “this company is not what you’re wanting,” we hope readers will make the decision for themselves regarding whether or not a position with our company is what they are wanting. Again, we appreciate you sharing your feedback and wish you the very best. Kind regards, Acquire Human Resources Dept.

Pros

The team outings are fun, but that is literally the only pro.

Cons

They lie about what you're doing (selling phones in a Costco or Sam's), berate you, and lie about the hours.
