Pros

Everyone that works in the company is great one on one. The people are very friendly and supportive.

Cons

The company is not straight forward with what the actual job is. You stand in a Sam's Club or Costco and sell Directv and cell phones. They have you come into the office 6 days a week for morning meetings that they make you stand for to apparently keep everyone awake. After the morning meeting you are sent to your store. Your store could be in Raleigh, Durham, Rocky Mount, Fayetteville, Winterville, or Goldsboro. Some of the locations are at most an hour and a half away. They do not accurately compensate you for gas or pay you for your driving time. The base pay is $10 per hour. After taxes it ends up being about $250 a week. If you can sell enough products to break the $400 they set, you will receive pay based off of commission. The market in Raleigh is burnt out. The people in Sam's and Costco know that the stuff we are selling is not worth it, and they constantly ignore us. They will work you 60 or more hours a week when you include driving times. They do not accurately refund you for travel business trips. They make you feel bad for needing a day off. They run meetings on time management and how if you complain that you do not have time to tend to your personal life they will do a break down of why that's a lie you are telling yourself. The people that make it far in this business are not honest. Do not fall for the interview. The second round interview is a script. And they beat around the bush about what the job actual is. You are the annoying person that tries to get people to buy phones or Directv. That's it.

Acquire Response

Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for taking the time to review our company. While we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed working alongside the staff at Acquire, we are disappointed to hear that you would not recommend our company. Although your opinion of us is less than satisfactory, we would like to respond by expressing our excitement about how far Acquire has come and how much our company has developed in a short amount of time. Over 1.5 years, our organization has taken over the mobility and smart tech space by representing some pretty major brands such as Apple, Samsung, At&t, Verizon, and Sprint. Vivint Smart Home has been a client of ours for almost a year now and as of this week, we have added Google to our book of business. We feel we are just beginning to crack the surface and look forward to what the future holds for our team! Of course, we take pride in everything we have worked so hard to achieve, but we take just as much pride in our efforts consistently put towards giving back to our local community. Some of our philanthropic efforts can be found by visiting our website, www.acquireraleigh.com, or by clicking here. Additionally, we enjoy being able to say that our staff is made up of welcoming, friendly individuals who are eager to coach and invest in the professional development of others within our company. This has attributed to our strong company culture, which we work to preserve and further progress each day. With that said, there are always areas within any company that could be improved upon and we will certainly work on fine-tuning the operational aspects of our business that you disagree with. In regards to compensation, thankfully, our pay model allows everyone a fair chance at making an uncapped salary. Depending on performance efforts, an individual’s commissions will, nine times out of ten, greatly exceed the compensation for clocked work hours alone. For many, that is an exciting opportunity! However, we completely understand that it may not be what everyone is seeking in the job market. Luckily, Raleigh is flourishing with a wide range of amazing job opportunities, which means there is something out there for nearly everyone. Again, we truly appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best. Kind regards, Acquire Human Resources Dept.

Pros

The team outings are fun, but that is literally the only pro.

Cons

They lie about what you're doing (selling phones in a Costco or Sam's), berate you, and lie about the hours.
