Pros

Most of the coworkers were nice and worked together well. They provided a nice Yeti and some nice shirts.

Cons

People weren’t promoted because of skill or ability but we’re continually promoted because of favoritism. If you were buddy buddy with someone you get promoted, but if you ask questions/are willing to voice an opinion you won’t. Managers refuse to advocate for the employees, but are more focused on keeping their job safe by not questioning anything their boss or upper management says. Additionally, managers don’t know how to manage people or build connections, there’s a lot of fake pep and excitement to try and motivate people as opposed to actually addressing the issues people care about. They take the concept of client/customer is always right too far, in that they rarely push back against a client even when the client is causing the issues. They’re quick to blame employees before blaming the client. This was true anywhere from managers all the way to EVPs. At least once, they apologized to a client while blaming employees, despite never asking for their own employee’s story. It inspires no loyalty. Upper management is out of touch with the rest of employees. It creates a very “us vs. them” attitude. Micromanaging is abundant. Certain bosses and managers feel the need to have their hand in every single thing happening, but ultimately cause delays because they cannot keep on top of everything. They do not hire adequate number of staff so everyone is over worked and under paid, and then management is continually upset that people are not keeping up with numbers or people leave because of the poor pay and overworking.

Pros

Good benefits, decent office spaces.

Cons

Overworked, underpaid, even superiors don't know what leadership is doing. They are selling a dream, lots of empty promises, management's goal is to sell you into believing in the company rather than address your needs or stick to their own directives from last year. Got promoted to a new role and hardly any training other than talking to others about the role and then a boatload of technical work dumped into my lap and no help in sight, as everyone else is also drowning in work.
