Pros

First manager was a nice guy, but they got rid of him. The pay was good for a college student. Job was simple at first, but became mind-numbingly boring. You can get some nice discounts on the products of whatever company you are representing.

Cons

They will drop your hours and hourly wage without any notice. Your manager won't even know about it until it is already done. Started off at 16/hr then one day out of the blue I get a generic email saying that ASR's wages have been lowered to $14.50. My manager never informed us of this and I don't believe he knew until the email was sent. Initially, they would pay for gas mileage, but that was phased out. They decided to only pay for mileage between stores, which is pointless if you only have one store. Your hours are not steady. Holiday's you will get 10 hour shifts or be asked to work 4-5 days for 8 hours. Non-holidays you'll work 2 days for 3-6 hours a day. Other times you might not get any hours for 3-4 weeks.
