Pros

The people who you work with directly. Nothing else.

Cons

Pointless, boring and repetitive tasks, people get away with harassment depending on who they are in the company, you're treated like a machine. You will be doing the same thing every single day. A lot of the work seems pointless and the higher-ups only care about how much you do, not the quality of what you do. Very ironic for the quality assurance positions. There is a lot of pressure to do several tasks at the same time in the shortest period possible, while the salary can barely pay the bare necessities. The higher-ups take advantage of the immigrant employees, especially if they need to be sponsored by the company. A typical workflow there is as follows: Get an assignment and do it until the day ends. Filling checklists that never end and checking the same areas of the same project for months on end. Then the year turns and the next project is the same, but with more content to check. Rinse and repeat. HR people come and go like sunshine in Dublin. Either because they are worked to exhaustion, low salary or they are treated like dirt by the bosses. The few that stay are the ones who put the company above all.

Pros

Love to work within gaming, office is nice, and analytics function is strong. Company events are a plus, as are perks for games and Microsoft items.

Cons

Annual layoffs, can usually expect 1,000 or more people let go across XGS with a hundred or so from Activision. Work-life balance could be better, and compensation is squarely median or a bit lower for the industry.
