Pros

They don't micromanage me and trust me enough to get my work done. They don't question my decisions and let me have free reign in writing stories and deciding what goes in the paper. No complaints.

Cons

I hope it doesn't sound greedy, but with my education and background, I think I deserve to be paid more - don't we all. I've spent decades as a reporter/novelist. While working here, I earned a master's degree 2019 . I think the combination of work history/advanced education deserves a pay increase.

Pros

I enjoy my job and the new adventures it brings each day. As a manager, I like being able to help shape our future and pass on my knowledge to help others succeed.

Cons

I suppose there are always things that can be improved and who doesn't want to earn more money, and although I understand that is most likely based on revenue generation, we have a lot of team members across the country that have been with the company (and their respective publications) for many, many years and I believe they're salaries should be reflective of that time and dedication and that is not always the case, as we have team members who have been here for a decade, sometimes decades, making less that someone we just hired.
