Pros

- Love the students- they are driven, resourceful and resilient. - Many dedicated staff who truly care about student learning and success - Small campus allows you to get to know students and staff on an individual level - Flexibility in role- pitching and trying out new ideas was encouraged by my direct supervisor - Ability to support success of underserved students

Cons

- Size of campus and town makes it difficult to move up or find new positions - In a period of adjustment- mismanagement and poor fiscal decisions made by previous leadership. Steps taken to right size campus have lead to some tension amongst faculty and staff - inconsistency in leadership- positive or negative experience is highly dependent upon department.

Great group of kids to work with. Most of them men sports think they’re all going to play professional. Women’s sports are more grounded and they understand they are there for an education.

Cons

Administration and coaching staff are very difficult to work with. Was like working in a “good old boys” club except they were all women.
