The CEO's in charge and the people underneath them only care about the bottom line. Employees' hours and salaries are cut with only days notice. Full-time salaried employees find themselves part-time. Employees are promised promotions then have them yanked away and are demoted with only one or two days notice. Programs and clients are brutally slashed. CEO's get upset with anyone who complains about having lost a living wage. Human Resources is non-existent, so there is nobody to help.
