Pros

-free food when in office -yearly pay increases of 3% to keep up with inflation. -office space is very chic -most jobs are work from home -they fired the distasteful CEO recently

Cons

-Compensation. Be prepared to be compensated 30-40% less than other organizations. Don't expect to make more than $40,000 if you have less than 3 years professional experience. -Bonuses. Where other companies give you 5%-20% yearly bonuses, Addgene will give you a few hundred dollars a year. -They only promote and offer raises twice a year. -There is clear favoritism at Addgene. If you are part of marketing, computer development or a scientist you will be pampered. All other teams are considered second rate. -HR also has clear favoritism with employees. Only trustworthy HR employee was laid off and replaced by someone who is known to be a huge gossiper. -Nepotism -Company is not diverse and mainly caucasian people, yet they preach how important diversity is. -"unlimited" sick days
