Pros

One of the better recruiting firms for new grads to join. Great L&D team that flies you out to headquarters in Chicago for training. Opportunity to make good money if you work hard. Most employees are very personable and a lot of people have made long-term friends here. I’ve been to multiple offices and most are beautiful spaces with all the resources you need to succeed.

Cons

As a company that states they value diversity, equity & inclusion most employees are white. They also don’t give MLK, Juneteenth, Indigenous People’s Day, etc. off. These are technically floating holidays but employees aren’t eligible for floating days until Jan. 1st after your first full year. This means if you start Jan. 2nd 2024 you’d have to wait until Jan. 1st of 2026 to take MLK day off. What manager you work for also determines your experience: mine has gone through 6 or 7 team member in the 3 years I’ve been here while others haven’t had any turn over on their teams. Salaries are fine but could be better. Leadership tends to promote the “give yourself a raise” with bonus/commission approach which is most sales jobs I guess. We implemented a new software system over a year ago and a lot of employees still don’t know how to use it. There are specific goals/metrics to meet while ramping up however nowadays I don’t have numbers to hit - this could be a pro for some people!

Pros

Addison Group is a wonderful organization with incredible support from within, opportunities to grow, and great people to work with. I never expected to spend 4+ years of a career here starting out, - but I see a lot more time here in my future!

Cons

The workload can be demanding based on how successful you'd like it to be -- which is not a bad thing at all but the sky's the limit if you're willing to put in the work.
