Pros
There is a lot of flexibility with scheduling when you need to take time off. 19 days of PTO per year and it's not tracked well. If you are in a good office there is a lot of team work and fun atmosphere.
Cons
The work environment is very unstable. They sell you on the idea of high commissions and professional staffing when in reality 99% of your job is general staffing including warehousing positions. Commissions are very hard to come by if you are in the general staffing side. There is VERY little support from upper management. If your branch is not doing well they do not help to build it they just play the blame game and keep pushing numbers. The mentality is "hang in there" and "things will get better" when in reality this is something that upper management continues to say to everyone but is not doing anything to make it better. Adecco corporate ideas and values are not carried down throughout the branches and each branch is on its own and acts independently. They have created a thorough training manual but it is almost impossible to follow when you are working alone in a branch and expected to carry out all branch procedures on your own. Upper management acts very re-actively to issues rather than proactively. Another huge issue is the standard set for associates that are seeking employment, with a lot of low paid positions and very little standards set it has become a very hostile work environment. Employees are frequently calling yelling, screaming, threatening, and cursing at the staff in the branch.
