Pros

Good environment, LGBTQIA+ friendly, ability to work from home.

Cons

This is a job that employees only people 18 years or older, yet they pay us like we are in high school. Granted ACT is a contracted third party for the clients they have, I just feel like the contracts they have with these companies should include a livable wage. $16 an hour is not a livable wage not even a little. Also being put into a drawing for a $50 prize is not a bonus, that’s just a slightly upgraded version of a pizza party but honestly still worse somehow.

Pros

Decent pay. Decent benefits. Good PTO policy. Employee-owned company.

Cons

Training is woefully inadequate. Advancement is inconsistent, and it is extremely common for high-performing employees to be promoted and then subsequently demoted through no fault of their own, due to internal restructuring (loss of a contract, offshoring, outsourcing, ETC). This has a devastating impact on morale, and management does not seem to care.
